Turmeric, Orange Zest, Oat, Fruit and Raw Honey Clusters

 

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup oat flour
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup hemp or flaxseeds
  • ½ cup raw honey
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • ½ cup of organic mixed dried fruit (Sulphur-free), roughly chopped  
  • 1 tsp. orange zest

Method:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 150C.
  • In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together, gently combine but don’t over mix.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper. Roughly roll the cluster mixture into 20cm clusters and place on the tray.
  • Cook for approx. 15 minutes, or till gold brown. Remove from the heat and let it adhere together into clumps and cool.
  • Serve with yoghurt, milk and/or fresh fruit. Or have as a snack on its own.
  • Store leftover in a airtight container and refrigerate.
