MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
To become an accredited member of ATMS, an applicant must hold an accredited award in a recognised modality from an ATMS accredited teaching institution.
For practitioners who have trained elsewhere a submission providing full details of training, and experience if applicable, must be sent to ATMS to be forwarded to the Academic Review Committee (ARC).
A membership application form can be acquired by telephoning the ATMS office on (02) 9809 6800, or by fax (02) 9809 7570, or by or by downloading the application
form as a PDF file (this is a large file and will take time
to download).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Members wishing to add qualifications in addition to those already accredited, please send certified photocopies of the documents to the ATMS office if they are diplomas from ATMS accredited teaching institutions.
Otherwise a submission must be made to the Academic Review Committee (ARC). There is no charge for the inclusion of additional qualifications.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Student membership is open to all students studying accredited diploma courses at ATMS accredited teaching institutions. For a list of the benefits of student membership, please see How to Join ATMS.
UPGRADING TO ACCREDITED MEMBERSHIP FROM STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
On completion of a diploma course, a student member needs to send a certified photocopy to the ATMS office and pay the accredited member fee. Please contact the ATMS office first to establish the payable amount as some credit for fees already paid as a student member may be applicable. There is no need to submit another application for membership.
On receipt of the cheque/money order/credit card details and certified award, the membership is immediately upgraded.
