In this two day Remedial Massage workshop participants will be expected to have a Certificate IV in Massage and be conversant with the basic structure of the human body, understand some muscular dysfunction and perform a basic relaxation massage.
Day One:
. Spinal degeneration. Anatomy of a disc. Working with the Cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
. Terminology – covering all tissue related to a remedial massage
. Acupressure
. Thoracic and lumbar problems and stretches
. The knee – problems, diagnostic checks and treatment.
Day Two: All immobility, pain and reasons behind the following conditions as well as clinical procedures to assist:
. Tennis elbow
. Wry neck/torticollis
. Frozen shoulder
. All revision
